Days after unloading his new song "Lust," Waynesboro, Pa.-based rapper Lil Skies returns with a new visual for "Nowadays," a Landon Cube-assisted cut from his forthcoming Life of a Dark Rose mixtape.

The new Cole Bennett-directed visual for the smooth CashMoneyAP-produced track finds Skies roaming the hallways of a high school as he spits about his lack of need for a girlfriend. Cube handles the hook and also heads down the same hallways Skies makes his way around.

When Skies isn't roaming the hallways, he's super-imposed onto a field as a supernova begins to envelop the landscape.

On the hook for the track, Cube sings, "Nowadays I'm too cool for a girlfriend/Nowadays I don't know when the world spins/Live your life like we die when the world ends/So it's alright every time we fuckin' break us in," setting the tone for the carefree track.

For his part, Lil Skies, using a completely indifferent, unaffected tone of voice, echoes that sentiment in his verses on the track. "Aye, it's so lonely on the east side/I don't give a fuck/I keep it real I'm not gon' let it slide/Now she see me up, she let me fuck/Want me to come inside?/Broski going dumb, hopped in the car, he said he down to ride," Skies spits on the song.
