Philadelphia native Tierra Whack is a name to watch. In 2011, using the rap moniker Dizzle Dizz, the then-16-year-old spitter was the talk of the town after becoming the first lady of We Run The Streets. She rapped in front of Meek Mill and A$AP Rocky and was frequently seen freestyling at local radio stations. Fast forward to today, and Dizz, who now goes by Tierra Whack, has rebranded herself and is prime to make a splash.

Her newest single is “Mumbo Jumbo” and it's fantastic. The record's music video, which was directed by Marco Prestini, displays her creativity and shows Tierra going for a routine dentist checkup that goes horribly wrong.

“Mumbo Jumbo” is weird because it's hard to hear what she's actually saying, yet you can fully understand her. Produced by Nick Mira and Ric & Thaddeus, the record could catch on. She's quietly been releasing music this year, like previous singles "Shit Happens," "Child Please" and "Toe Jam," which showcase her versatility as an artist. 2018 could be a big year for Tierra Whack.
