Today (Oct. 6), rapper O.T. Genasis had just released the music video for his latest single, "Everybody Mad."

The visual component to the single finds the Long Beach, Calif. native shutting down his haters whilst reminding them he's still the same dude from the streets. "The same ol' nigga from the block/The same ol' nigga with the pot/The same ol' nigga from the trap/Everybody hatin' on him then he bounced right back," he raps during the intro.

The Mike Ho-directed visual also shows O.T. in a makeshift studio in someone's apartment and then follows him to a garage covered in snow and women for a change of scenery.

Though the talented hitmaker's been relatively quiet in 2017, that doesn't mean he's stopped moving his way up the industry ladder. In February, TMZ reported O.T. Genasis raked in $20,000 to perform via hologram at Heat Ultra Lounge in California. Most recently the "Cut It" rhymer made headlines when he appeared outside of the White House and crip walked to YG and Nipsey Hussle's "Fuck Donald Trump" in August.

Producer Pierre spoke to XXL in June to in regards to collaborating with Kap G and O.T. on the former's single, "Bando." "Working with Kap and O.T. was effortless from the jump because they're so talented at what they do," the Los Angeles-based beatmaker shared. "Their approach and energy fit my production like a glove, so it was a win-win for everyone."
