Wisconsin's Trapo is quietly putting together some momentum. The midwestern rapper releases his new song and video for "Blue Shirt." The visual uses vintage camcorders to capture the special moments between Trapo and his leading lady.

"'Cause smokin' just right for weeks/Then boning and go back to sleep/Work ya in the worst way, lady yeah/Work ya on your birthday, lady yeah/Work ya in the workplace, lady yeah/Work ya in the workplace, right/Why you always workin' late? Why you always up again?/Talkin' to the wrong one," he sings.

"Blue Shirt" is the lead single off the rapper's new album, Ford 4 Door. The record finds Trapo experimenting with his sound, something he always tries to do with each release.

"I wanted to experiment with a different sound on this one. I want to fuse the lyrical rap tradition with experimental trap sounds," he said in a recent interview. "'Blue Shirt' is from my upcoming project Ford 4 Door, which really focuses on elevating my sound & experimentation in general."

Ford 4 Door follows up his 2016 project Shade Trees. Check out the video for "Blue Shirt" below.
