Pinder, formerly known as J Pinder, drops Player Profile, the third installment in his EP trilogy. The other two EPs (Any Day Now and Something You Wanted) were released earlier this year and the series follows Pinder's five-year hiatus from making music after working in the music tech world. Player Profile is led by his single "Hope it Rains." For the newest project, the EP was inspired by life.

"Player Profile EP is the third EP with 10.4 Rog," Pinder told XXL through email. "He and I linked up in Oakland and knocked out a bunch of music that we enjoyed ourselves. The inspiration came from life. Taking years away from the game, I bottled in a lot of energy."

The Seattle native has collaborated with the likes of Marsha Ambrosius, Musiq Soulchild, Kuddie Fresh of Tha Bizness production group and got a huge co-signed by Dr. Dre in 2014 when he was summoned to write songs for the Compton album. Pinder is also the co-founder of the Gyld music streaming service.

However, right now, all he wants to do is make more music. "I'm keeping my creativity strong, continuing to contribute to the legacy of West Coast hip-hop; more music, shows, videos," Pinder added.
