Charlotte, N.C. rapper Well$ is one of the standout rappers in city's talent pool. The budding upstart releases the video for "Strictly for My N*!gaz," a record off his latest EP, All Kings Get Their Heads Chopped Off. The song was produced by Immaculate Taste labelmate Lucho.

The video, which was directed by Summit Collective, features VHS effects and viewers get to watch Well$ hanging out with his friends around their neighborhood and at the carnival. "SFMN" was written by Well$ on a trip to South Africa a few years ago and it's meant to serve as an anthem for his label and friends.

All Kings Get Their Heads Chopped Off dropped earlier this month and features guest appearances from NicX, Wally Left and Lenny Doucha. Production on the EP was largely handled by the Immaculate Taste collective. Well$ previously released  “Day Ones" and “Rosé” off his latest EP. All Kings Get Their Heads Chopped Off follows up Well$'s fantastic 2016 album, The Way I’m Living Makes My Mom Nervous. In a recent interview with Noisey, Well$ spoke about the growing North Carolina hip-hop scene he's helping to cultivate.

"I feel like North Carolina rap artists, we have to show unity––that we're cultivating a culture and not just individual aesthetics. It has to be a part of something greater," he explains.
