The Alchemist, Jay Worthy and Sha Hef Are “Stepping Out” for New Song

Jay Worthy and The Alchemist are teaming up for a new collaborative project titled Fantasy Island. The project, which drops June 2, will featuring Rugotti, Conway, Meyhem Lauren, Ray Wright, and more.

The newest single released off Fantasy Island, "Stepping Out," finds Al and Jay linking up with Sha Hef for an exciting record that has Worthy rapping over a smooth sample. "All my niggas looking rich/but we came from them times/didn't have a pot to piss/now I pull up in that six," raps the West Coast MC. Fantasy Island came together when Alchemist and Jay met in Vancouver after a Meyhem Lauren show.

"The collaboration with me and Alchemist came about when I was in Vancouver going to check out the homie Meyhem Lauren's show," says Jay to Billboard. "We were both in that city. He was playing with Action Bronson and Al was DJing," recalls Worthy. "So, after the show, I'm backstage and Al approaches me and tells me he's a fan and gave me props on my s--t. I was shocked to be honest that he knew who I was. I had asked him how he had heard of my music and he said Earl Sweatshirt had put him on to it and he was rockin' with it. So, from there, we chopped it up. [We] met back in L.A. and got to work."
