HBO's hit series Silicon Valley recruits Danny Brown for a new song on the show's soundtrack. The song, which is titled “Kool Aid,” will appear on the May 14 episode of the show, as well as the soundtrack, which is out June 23 via Mass Appeal Records. Silicon Valley comes on every Sunday at 10 p.m. on HBO.

The other songs on the soundtrack are Los Angeles’ Old Man Saxon and Mount Cyanide for “On My Own" plus DJ Shadow and Nas’ collaboration “Systematic.”

In other music news, the Detroit MC dropped his Atrocity Exhibition LP last year. The 15-track album was brilliant and it was one of the best projects of 2016. He recently got Jonah Hill to direct the video for “Ain’t It Funny.”

Brown apparently has a friend in comedian Dave Chappelle, whom he got high before a show in Motown. Chappelle spoke about the incident in his new Netflix special. The comedian shared the story about smoking a rapper's potent weed and being ridiculously high.
