Koly P is ready to make his mark this year. The Florida rapper is in the running for the 2017 XXL Freshman class' 10th spot and gearing up for the release of his Rap Game Messiah project. The talented MC takes his next step towards greater recognition by dropping a freestyle over 2Pac's classic song "Hail Mary." Koly P sounds right at home on the Hurt-M-Badd production as he spits some tough bars on the track.

"I'm tired of being humble/I'm starting to lose sleep/I can feel it in my bones, that lil' pussy finna to creep/Rather see me in the grave than riding on this beat/But I'm a prodigy, I'm Mobb Deep," Koly P raps.

The freestyle is a good example of what Koly P brings to the table. The southern rhymer is as real as it gets too, as seen during a recent show at Skatetown in Fort Pierce, Fla. A foolish person in the crowd made the mistake of trying to snatch Koly P's chain at the gig. The man ended up on the wrong side of some fists and got beat up due to his actions.

Fans will be able to hear Koly P's Rap Game Messiah on April 18. The project will be his first release since a high profile guest appearance on the Zoey Dollaz and Future collaboration "Ya Ya Ya," so expect there to be a lot of attention surrounding it.
