Drake Accuses Coachella Club of Racial Profiling

Drake wasn’t too happy with one particular club near the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. He made that much clear in a now-deleted Instagram post where he accused The Madison Club of racial profiling.

The Madison Club is a community inside of a country club you can find just a few miles away from the site of the Coachella festival. It sounds like a swell place, but according to Drizzy, it’s a backwards one.

In the post, which featured a picture of the club’s logo and the caption, Drizzy wrote, “The most offensive place I have ever stayed at in my life with staff who pick and choose who they are going to accommodate based on racial profiling 🙌🏽 #Coachella.” Yikes.

It’s an unfortunate part of what was probably a pretty fun time for Toronto’s favorite son. On Sat., April 5, Drizzy took the stage with Future to perform More Life cuts “Fake Love” and “Gyalchester.” The crowd was loving every moment of Drizzy’s performance and all seemed to be completely well.

A few days before his appearance at Coachella, Drizzy earned one more in what feels like an endless stream of accomplishments when it was revealed More Life had officially earned 1 billion streams on Spotify.

Drizzy has been doing a lot of big things, but if what he says is true, that would mean even his monumental success can’t prevent him from being discriminated against.
