The year has started off pretty well for Buffalo rapper Westside Gunn.

Along with inking his deal with Shady Records with his brother Conway, NY rapper Westside Gunn has just released some new music for his fans to vibe out to. Hitler on Steroids, Westside Gunn’s new mixtape hosted by DJ Green Lantern, is a 24 track project that consists of some old tunes as well a  couple new ones. It has features from Royce Da 5’9”, Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, Kiesha Plum, and Benny.

Westside Gunn and brother Conway have been building a following and an audience since the early 2000’s. They have done numerous collaborative and solo projects and have teamed up with other rappers throughout their career such as Mobb Deep and The Alchemist. The grizzly NY rappers actually linked up with The Alchemist last year and recorded an entire album in a day and a half. This link up came right after Westside Gunn dropped his mixtape Hitler Wears Hermes 4.

As of 2017, the Buffalo MC has remained humble but is still ready to stamp his name in the rap game as one of the best newcomers. This is his second studio effort in a two month span. His first project of the year dropped last month which was Riots on Fashion Avenue, a 12 track mixtape that consisted of four new songs such as “Fly Sh*t,” “Brains Flew By,” “Dont Trust a Soul,” and “No Dealer Face.”

Who knows what else Westside Gunn has cooking for 2017. With two projects under his belt and a brand new deal with Shady Records in only a three month time span, it’s safe to assume that there is definitely more where that came from.
