Playboi Carti blessed the world today by dropping off two new bangers, with both of them featuring an appearance from the ascendant Lil Uzi Vert.

The first track is called "Lookin," a song that features just the sort of dismissive confidence you'd expect from the two young rappers, and a repetitive hook that's barely distinguishable from their verses. It's a quick-paced banger with an instrumental that sounds like it could be played while your favorite 1990s video game's loading. You can check out "Lookin" on iTunes now. His song "Broke Boi" landed on iTunes only a week ago.

Next up is the Pierre Bourne-produced "Woke Up Like This," a track that sees Carti spit about his perceived imitators. The hook of this little gem goes, "I woke up to niggas talking like me/I woke up to niggas sounding like me," before repeating. For his part Uzi, a self-proclaimed rock star, uses his typically animated flow to flex on his own haters.

It's unclear which of these tracks is going to end up on Playboi Carti's upcoming debut mixtape, but we wouldn't be upset if both of them did. Either way, Uzi isn't the only heavy-hitter Carti's been working with. Just about two weeks ago, Carti used his Snapchat to indicate that he'd been in the studio with Metro Boomin.

If "Lookin" and "Woke Up Like This" are any indication of what's coming next from Carti, we should only be expecting good things.
