Seventeen-year-old Long Island native Chris Miles drops the video for "Wake Up," a Blended Babies-produced track off his new EP Milestones, which dropped in January.

In the visual, the rising upstart falls from the sky onto a comfortable bed while spitting bars about catching contact high from Snoop Dogg waiting in an elevator. Viewers then see Miles rapping in front of a bonfire. Direct by Strange Nature Productions, the clip is simple but captivating.

For the last few years, Chris Miles has been gradually buzzing, recording with Cam'ron in the past. He has most recently been working with G-Unit’s Tony Yayo and getting Chris Brown's attention.

“I used to just be on Twitter, tweeting at random rappers,” he tells XXL through email. “Then one day I was going to catch the bus to school and I saw Chris Brown tweeted. People are ashamed to tweet their music out there, but I don't care, that’s just a way for me to put myself out there. These days that’s how you do it.”

Milestones is a five-track EP showcasing Chris Miles' growth over the years. Watch "Wake Up" below.
