Lil Durk Gets YFN Lucci for New Song “Mood I’m In”

Big news for Lil Durk fans. He's coming out with a new mixtape titled Love Songs for the Streets, which is hosted by DJ Bandz and DJ Drama. The tape drops tomorrow (Feb. 28). To get fans excited, he links up with YFN Lucci for "Mood I'm In," which is a cut off the forthcoming tape.

For "Mood I'm In," the two MCs rap about their successes and accomplishments. The street banger is a catchy hit that's meant to be played at high volume. The track follows the video for "Better," which Durk released last week.

The rapper spoke about how "Mood I'm In" came together. "I wouldn't say something particularly inspired it, just a feeling I had at the time I guess. I just move to Atlanta so the change of scenery and environment put me in a different mood and a different vibe, both good," Lil Durk said in a recent interview. "Lucci was one of the first artists I connected with when I moved here. First day I got here he had a session, so I pulled up to it and we did like three to four records together that night. This one is just the first that's being released."
