Royce Da 5’9″ is filthy. The hip-hop vet is one of the best rappers right now and he proves it here as he freestyles over Phresher’s popular “Wait a Minute" single and puts it in a body bag.

"I'm looking at your year end list/You're choosing rappers you're friends with/Who be rapping what their friends did/Toolie ratchets and extensions/Wait, wait, wait a minute/We done already heard their best shit/We already got the message/They on a lean, molly, Percocet trip/Think I found what real success is/Running around here since 'The Message'," Royce raps

During the three-minute freestyle, the Slaughterhouse MC touches on current hip-hop news such as the Charlamagne and Tomi Lahren controversy, Trey Songz destroying the stage at a recent show, Soulja Boy's antics and a lot more.

2016 was a busy year for Royce. He released two projects, a mixtape called Respect the Shooter in March, and his Layers album in April. Hopefully we get more new music from Royce very soon.

We spoke to Phresher, a Brooklyn, N.Y. native, for The Break last year, and he took us through the process of making "Wait a Minute."

“’Wait a Minute,’ that’s it. There’s no greater moment than this. I got 50 Cent on my record. I have my days when I go in the studio and be very serious than I have some days where I just go in and have fun. [Making ‘Wait a Minute’] was one of those [fun] days. It was pure sophisticated ignorance. It was just real fun. I was recording a record and banging on a wall. I was just in that party mode.”

Listen to Royce go in for his new freestyle above.
