Music should be one of the last things on rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again's mind. But he's not letting his legal ordeal stop his shine as an artist on the come up. Today, we get the Baton Rouge rapper's latest track "Don't Matter."

The gutter MC is still unapologetically gangsta on the track, yet contemplative, as he bounces his flow over a trap soundtrack.

"Better watch who around you better not get yourself caught in no scams/We ain't the same I don't believe in what you believe/I can't live forever I know that one day I gotta leave/Can't get caught in that cell if I go broke I know they gone leave," he raps.

"Don't Matter" is produced by Dubba-AA.

What does matter is the two counts of attempted second degree murder charges YB is currently facing.

As previously reported, the 17-year old rapper, born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, is accused of firing a gun during a drive-by shooting on Nov. 2.

According to authorities, Gaulden was in the vehicle with three other individuals when the shooting took place. A passenger was shot in the neck during the incident. Afterward, the fleeing vehicle crashed, and all four people in the car fled before police could get to the scene.

The BRPD believe the incident was a retaliation for a prior shooting.

YoungBoy was arrested in Austin, Texas on Nov. 28, where he was to perform. He was extradited from Austin to his hometown of Baton Rouge, La., on Dec. 7. In addition to the attempted murder charges, he’s got a warrant out for his arrest in the East Baton Rouge Parish Juvenile Court.
