Lloyd Banks Rides With Big K.R.I.T. and Currensy on “Change Lanes”
The fourth song in the series, Banks takes a ride down south and recruits Krizzle and the Hot Spitta to hop on the Doe Pesci track. Avoiding a typically Southern-sounding instrumental, Pesci provides a dreamy soundscape for the MCs to scratch off on.
“I got these drugs in my stream/Skipped the chance to get clean/My heart as cold as the slammer in Alexander McQueen,” Banks spits
“Pay it cash for it I drive like I stole it/I ain’t passing it, I’m not a social smoker,” Curren$y raps.
Banks initially launched the Blue Friday series in 2010, with each week's installment eventually ending up compiled on a mixtape. It looks like he's planning on doing the same thing this time around.
In other Banks related news, the Queens rapper recently welcomed his first child.
He was able to keep the news under wraps for the most part, with the evidence of the pending seed being him posing in a picture with a woman who was clearly pregnant in November. The G-Unit rapper however shared the big news of the birth in a short post on Twitter. “My baby girl is here!!!” he tweeted.
Music wise, the PLK has been in his bag recently. In September, he released All or Nothing: Live It Up, featuring collaborations with Joe Budden, Tony Yayo and Styles P. He followed that up with Halloween Havoc 3 in October.
