Z-Ro only smokes the finest weed. The Houston MC makes that abundantly clear on his new track "Smell Like Some Reggie" produced by Beanz N Kornbread. The Mo City Don effortlessly flows on this beat, which should come as no shock since Beanz N Kornbread are his go-to producers.

"Get off the highway, go straight and make the last left/He ain't never ever got a couple bags left/What I be smoking on known to take your last breath/What y'all be smoking on known to give ya bad breath," Z-Ro raps.

Z-Ro might make it look easy, but he is a perfectionist. The rapper told XXL that he remains his toughest critic.

"It’s horrible with me because I criticize everything that I do and I only listen to me," Z-Ro said. "It’s a continuous, 'I don’t think they are going to feel this.' I know I’m going to do it anyway but it’s like, Damn are they going to feel this? If they don’t feel it fuck ’em. I’m not going to change it. I don’t know, it’s like walking on eggshells with yourself before you release anything ’cause I know it’s different. I got to be different. I don’t want to be or do what everyone else is doing. If it’s not [received] awesome enough, it never does flatline."

Although Z-Ro released his new album Drinkin' & Drivin' back in the summer, he's already got multiple new projects in the works. "Smells Like some Reggie" could turn out to be a preview of the veteran rapper's next LP.
