Ta'East, a Los Angeles-based, San Diego-bred, Kentucky-born rapper, is making some noise. Today he's back with his newest track "Light The Way." Over a dark, eerie Cairo Mayeson- produced beat, Ta'East raps about feeling like 2Pac and Biggie Smalls in their prime. "I just threw a hail mary/Nigga I can light the way/More money no problems/You can tell I'm on the way," he raps on the hook. "Light The Way" is a quality record.

For East, his skills won the attention of some of the most respected creatives in hip-hop such as No I.D. and Virgil Abloh. Now his hard work is looking like it's paying off. Ta'East's Ok I'm Ready EP should be dropping soon. Bump "Light The Way" above.
