PnB Rock is on a roll. His newest single is a flip of Outkast and UGK’s classic “International Players Anthem.” The Philadelphia natives raps about his come up and looks back at the long road he took to get where he is now.

"I've been going hard for only about a year/Ask about me in your city bet I'm poppin there," he sings later on in the song.

With so much good music out, a hit collaboration album titled Money, Hoes, Flows with Fetty Wap and dope records with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, PnB Rock is primed to have a big 2017. A few weeks ago he released "Want It All" featuring Styles P.

Last week a cool story about the making of “International Players Anthem” was told by Jeff Sledge, a former A&R at the now defunct Jive Records. Sledge explained how Pimp C originally hated Andre 3000’s contribution to the classic UGK single.

“You know how it starts with André doing the thing, it’s kinda almost with no drums,” Sledge told ItsTheReal on their A Waste Of Time podcast “It’s acapella and stuff. When André sent his piece back and had no drums, Chad was pissed off. He was like ‘Man, fuck Andre. How the fuck he gonna send my shit back and take my drums out? Man, I’m motherfucking Pimp C. Take my motherfucking drums out. Fuck that!”
