After weeks of dropped Monday Marathon loosies, fans finally have a new project from Nipsey Hussle. The Crenshaw heavy hitter drops the Famous Lies and Unpopular Truths EP today (Nov. 14). The 5-track EP first premiered on DatPiff runs lean and employs Rick Ross, Freeway and Cuzzy Capone for guest features.

Nispey gave fans a taste of the project last month when he let go of the Rozay collab "Mark My Words" and the serious "County Jail."

While the All Money In CEO has kept mostly to himself this year and often raps about snuffing out all his opponents, Nipsey definitely shared his point of view on the the overflow of social media-fueled rap beefs recently, specifically between The Game and Meek Mill back in early fall. Nipsey wasn't afraid to use the "@" button either.

"Hip-hop need to stop gassing this ‘beef’ between @thegame and @MeekMill,” Nipsey wrote on Twitter back on Sept. 18. “Niggas gone sit down like men and express they differences and come to an understanding. Ain’t gone be no east coast west coast war. Ain’t gone be no black men killing black men. Behind publicity or rap music or social pressure from the people to the point we can all deal w each other as real niggas w/ respect. If someone’s in the wrong then it should be handled….and then everyone get bac to the money. This internet shit is a divide and conquer. @thegame u got a lot of young blac men on your payroll. Same w @MeekMill this is bad leadership."

Getting back to the music, the Famous Lies and Unpopular Truths EP finds Nipsey spittin' truth and adding perspective to the street life. With five tracks worth of bars, the only critique fans might have about Famous Lies and Unpopular Truths is that it's too short. Take your whip around the block while you bump Nipsey's newest project here.
