Pharell starts the week off by dropping new music. Skateboard P shares his musical contribution to the new film Hidden Figures with the song "Runnin" today (Oct. 24). With a quriky, '60s style beat accompanying him, Skateboard P delivers a message of perseverance.

"I know they say crawl before you walk/But in my mind, I already jog/If I stand still I cannot get far/They want the moon I'm on Mars," sings P with jovial optimism.

Hidden Figures shines a light on three African American women who were crucial players in America's space race back in 1969. Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae star as physicists and mathematicians who calculated flight trajectories for the Apollo 11 flight to the moon. The 20th Century Fox film is set o hit theaters on Christmas day, Dec. 25, 2016 and the musical score for the film was composed by Pharrell and Hans Zimmer.

In real life, Pharrell has plenty to celebrate these days. The Virginia Beach native is killing the fashion game with his adidas Originals Human Race line, one of the most coveted cops for sneakerheads this year. P has been in the studio with many of hip-hop's new school acts like Kid Cudi and Post Malone. And to top it off, it was announced in September that he and his wife Helen Lasichanh are expecting their second baby.
