Lil Yachty is a pop star....or at least, he's teamed up with one for his newest banger. The ATL's fastest growing star jumped on Swedish pop star Zara Larsson's track "Ain't My Fault" for the official remix today (Oct. 7). The saxophone-assisted EDM single is the latest from Zara Larsson and now with Lil Yachty on board, the track will likely sail up the charts. This track definitely marks cross over appeal for the self-proclaimed "King of the Teens."

“Where's your thot?/Called my friends like,/‘What you caught last night?’/If the ass right and you ask right you might spend the night/Sitting so informal with the Sailing Team and we just might stat a dinner fight/need a White chick that's Kylie Jenner right/need a Black chick to cook my dinner right," raps Yachty in the song's third verse.

Lil Boat, a 2016 XXL Freshman, has gotten major flack during his rise rap prominence, especially from rap purists. Hot 97's Ebro called Yachty's style of auto-tune heavy rap "high school bars" and in August, the 19-year-old openly admitted that he's not familiar enough with 2Pac or Biggie's catalog, saying he “honestly couldn’t name five songs” from either of them. Yachty's explanation for the lack of hip-hop history knowledge was that he's doing things different and knowing hip-hop history isn't a priority for him.

“But if I’m doing this my way and making all this money,” Yachty reasoned, “why should I do it how everybody else does it?"

Clearly, doing things differently has been working for Yachty all the way to the bank. The Quality Control signee just killed the stage on national television at the 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards and was commended by BET's I Am Hip Hop Icon Award winner Snoop Dogg during Uncle Snoop's acceptance speech.
