In the most unlikely collaboration to happen, Charli XCX and Lil Yachty team up for “After the Afterparty,” the first single from her upcoming third studio album. The song is a hit and you can count on it being played everywhere very soon. Yachty, a 2016 XXL Freshman, croons about raging for a wild night. His part is short but it's the perfect twist to the pop record.

"The party just ended but I'm not done with you/My folks are out of town, we got a crib with a view/Come over, bring a couple friends, I keep mine with me/Shout out to Whitney, she was so wicked," raps Yachty.

How did Charlie and Yachty link up? She spoke with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 about that and how Lil Yachty surprised her by being a fan of her album Sucker. “I was like, ‘whoa, that’s cool ’cus I like, hate that album now, so it’s cool that he likes it.” They also have a mutual love for Panic! At The Disco. Bump “After the Afterparty” above.
