Gucci Mane is bridging the gap with the younger generation. Guwop linked up with the lightning rod that is Lil Yachty for a new single called "Bentley Coupe." Gucci sounds right at home alongside Lil Boat on this BYOU$ production.

"Watch what you say now, Gucci don't play now/EA my playground, I love how the K sound/Me and Lil Yachty in Nautica/Polar bear, Gucci, Antarctica/20 chains on like Mardi Gras/Woke up this morning, bought another car," Gucci raps.

While Gucci Mane obviously respects Lil Yachty, many older hip-hop artists have expressed their distate for the 2016 XXL Freshman. Lil Boat fires back at his critics on the final verse.

"These hating ass, rapping ass niggas be mad/They mad cause niggas is no longer into you/Damn, your money short like an interlude/Ain't no telling what I'm finna do," Lil Yachty raps.

Gucci Mane talked about his opinion of the new generation of Atlanta rap in the cover story for XXL's fall issue. The "Lemonade" rapper said he's forcing himself to understand the new style because it's popular.

"There’s a different sound to some of the stuff that’s going on," Gucci Mane said. "I’m forcing myself to like it because, it’s different. It’s not what I grew up listening to. It’s not the stuff I would generally play in my car, but if everybody else like it, who am I to say they’re stupid or that they’re wrong?"

Gucci Mane also praised the new class for the way they market themselves. Guwop said he is a fan of their movement even if he does not dig their music.
