Joey Badass is back. While Pro Era fans get hyped for Joey's AABA album, the Brooklyn MC comes through with another preview of the LP. His latest single is the Cookin' Soul-produced "Front and Center," which you can listen to above.

"Front and Center" continues Joey's departure from the boom bap style he employed for most of his career. Cookin' Soul's production leads him in a new direction, as you can hear on the hook.

"I need all my bad mamis, front and center/It's a movie scene when I enter/Better get your man if he sentimental/If I don't get the memo, I'm sending metal/Cause we ain't just letting off the instrumentals no more," Joey raps.

Joey is branching out on his next album, but it is still going to have an important message. The rapper recently compared the LP to vegetables.

"This new project is very powerful," he told Wild 94.1. "That’s the best thing I can say about it: it’s very strong music. It’s like hella vegetables. It’s hella good for you, and it’s almost my hesitance with it: the fact that it’s so good for you, because these kids these days want candy. ‘Devastated’ is almost like the organic candy because the message is still good for you."

There is no release for AABA at this time, but Joey might be ready to drop it after he wraps up on the Blank Face Tour. Joey will not be joining Schoolboy Q for the European leg, so watch out for some news at the end of October.
