Nebu Kiniza Is “Gassed Up” In New Video

Throughout the summer Nebu Kiniza's "Gassed Up" has been boomin'. The 22-year-old rapper, who was born in Queens, New York but moved to Atlanta, made himself a name after this was uploaded online. The numbers don't lie. "Gassed Up" currently has 17 million plays on Soundcloud and nearly six million plays on Spotify. Today, Kiniza, born Corey Reid, drops the video for the hit track. In the streets of L.A., the young spitta kicks it at a vintage gas station and takes viewers on a smokey trip around the block. The colorful visual fits the record's carefree, party vibe and also puts a face to the bubbling young rapper that's turning people's head.

"I just always want to put people in a good mood through my music and be forever happy,” he said in an interview. "Gassed Up" isn't Nebu Kiniza's only hit. “Fuck It Up” is already playing in the clubs in the south and his remix to “Myself," which features Key! and iLoveMakonnen, is a banger.

Kiniza, has been working hard over the last couple of years. He started rapping when he was 16 years old and hasn't look back. His rap moniker is named after the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzer II in the Bible. “Nebu stands for the good one and Kiniza stands for being originally creative and artistic,” he says. “Put two together and that’s me.” Look out for more in the future.
