Keith Ape wants to prove he's no one-trick pony. The Korean artist made a splash last year with his single "It G Ma." The track got so big that it received a remix featuring Waka Flocka, Father, Dumbfoundead and ASAP Ferg. Now, the rapper is a back with a new music video for his song "Let Us Prey" featuring Bryan Cha$e.

The new track may help Keith Ape in moving away from accusations of biting in his music. The rapper spoke about the similarities of "It G Ma" to OG Maco's "U Guessed It" in an interview from summer 2015.

"It wasn’t something where I was trying to practice the cadence a certain way and I wasn’t trying to emulate him. I was inspired by his sound though," he told Hypetrak. "I personally don’t feel like it was plagiarism but I thought about it like if I was OG Maco I would maybe be upset. So I thought it was fair to offer a percentage of the song to OG Maco."

Keith Ape hopes tracks like "Let Us Prey" will allow him to flourish in the U.S. market. The Seoul native wants to make a mark in the place where hip-hop began.

"The number one priority for me now is having a presence out here [in America]," he said. "I want to find my place in American music and be an American artist. I want my Korean friends to come out here and make a name for themselves in American music as well. I think after achieving those things I can then think about the bigger picture and the next steps but for now my main priority is creating my own lane out here in the U.S. and sharing other talented Korean artists. I want to submerge myself in the place where hip-hop started."

The melodic style of "Let Us Prey" should serve Keith Ape well in today's landscape. Time will tell if he can truly connect with American fans.
