The Divine Council are great at creating brief yet potent tracks. Divine Council's $ilk Money does just that on his new single "Decemba" produced by fellow member Icytwat. Check out a few of the furious bars $ilk Money delivers on this one.

"Cut bitches off like machetes/Would never eat the bitch, spaghetti/All about my paper like I work for Dunder Mifflin/Fucking yo bitch when you not home, steal a zone, now you wonder what's missing," $ilk Money raps.

The new solo cut from $ilk Money arrives just a few months after Divine Council released their debut EP on Epic Records. The Virginia group's Council World EP featured five tracks which showcased the crew's collective talents.

XXL had the chance to speak to the entire Divine Council ahead of Council World's release. $ilk Money spoke about their goal to change the status quo in the rap game.

"Change the sound, change the feeling, and change the world," $ilk Money said. "It ain’t really just about chasing the paper, at the end of the day niggas trying to make amazing fucking music and deadass change the whole sound. Everything sounds the same. Everything is trap this, trap that. It’s so many subgenres to trap."

Tracks like "Decemba" will certainly help the Divine Council shift the paradigm of modern hip-hop. The group's style has already built them a loyal fan base and the Epic Records push should only help them in expanding it.
