CJ Fly has officially begun the campaign for his sophomore album. The Pro Era member has released "Now You Know" as the first single off his upcoming FLYTRAP LP. The track features CJ Fly spitting some triumphant bars over a production crafted by Matt Noble.

"Only 22, so I’m in my prime/Made it here without committing crimes/Making paper off some different lines/Took my life and put it in these rhymes/Transformation like I’m Megatron/Give my music everything I got/And I don’t think that I’ll ever stop," CJ Fly raps.

CJ Fly did not need a pen and pad to create this track either. The rapper said he freestyled the entire song and ended up with first single for his next LP.

"'Now You Know' represents that moment you empower yourself after being shitted on or screwed over," CJ Fly told Billboard about the track. "I freestyled the entire song, and it captured how I was feeling at that moment in my life."

CJ Fly's FLYTRAP is scheduled to drop this fall on Pro Era/Cinematic Music Group. The album will serve as the follow-up to his debut project Thee Way Eye See It, which dropped back in 2013. CJ Fly has stayed quiet on the solo tip over the past few years, but he has obviously been a major contributor to the Pro Era releases since then. The collective's latest projects arrived in 2014 when they released The Secc$ Tap.e 2 and Shift EP.
