Wara from the NBHD is one of the latest MCs to successfully fuse hip-hop and rock. The Atlanta-based rapper caught a buzz with his December 2015 release If Guns Could Speak PSA, and has peppered 2016 with a few new joints in "Death Match, "Skin Tone" and "Shotclock." He offers up more fresh product in the form of his latest single "Please."

Produced by Alex Young and Willi Hendrixs, the song starts off sounding like your typical trap rap song with Wara rapping, "My nigga what's the situation/I ain't ask for opinions or no motherfucking validation," on the chorus, over the hard beat.

Mid-song the track switches up to an acoustic-driven instrumental and rides out to a chopped-up version of the vocals.

Wara's new style is definitely on a different wave. For his last project, he noted that he got inspiration from his surroundings. "The way it feels, and the way it sounds to me," he told XXL following the release of PSA. "My perspective on how I think people in America or on the outside looking in view us in these black communities that aren’t from here and most definitely the energy that rock music brings. I try my best to incorporate that and really fuse this hip-hop shit with it because that’s the music that I love over anything. I relate to it."

It appears as though this single will find a home on an upcoming project Wara is working on titled Playing For Keeps.
