Velous Arrives on “Flipmode”

One of the hottest producers in the game is also one of the illest rhymers too. Velous drops his new single “Flipmode.” The high energy self-produced cut finds the rapper spittin' bars about his insane lifestyle. "Shoot it shoot it, lock it down, fade away," spits V on the hook. The track is definitely a club banger. "That record was just a vibe that I caught in the studio. As an artist, once the vibe is right, you have to go with it," he said in an interview.

The Kingston, N.Y. native has crafted beats for some of the biggest names in hip-hop such as Kanye West's record “All Day,” which helped Velous snag two Grammy nominations, Fabolous, DJ SpinKing and plenty more. Most recently he's been dropping gems like “Sex And The City” and “Flex Wit You,” featuring his Coke Boy brethren French Montana.
