Sean Price's death was a huge loss for the hip-hop community. The veteran MC was one of the most genuine and honest voices that existed in rap. He was also one of the most talented as displayed throughout his entire career. Whether it was his work in the duo Heltah Skeltah or his acclaimed music as a solo act, Sean P left an indelible mark on hip-hop world.

Monday (Aug. 8) was the one-year anniversary of Sean Price's passing. Duck Down Music decided to make this sad day a little better by honoring the late artist with a previously unreleased song. The label put out a single from Price called "Rap Professer" produced by DJ Skizz.

The track is another reminder of the extremely high level that Sean Price always rapped at in life. DJ Skizz crafted a jazzy instrumental for the Boot Camp Clik member to turn into his rhyming playground.

"Providing the caine, so pure I don't cut on it/Track ain't crack unless Ruck on it/Like who the fuck want it/Cricket noise in the background/Niggas quiet, can't do a thing when I smash down," Sean Price raps.

According to DJ Skizz, "Rap Professor" will appear on a posthumous Sean Price album titled Imperious Rex. This is great news as fans have not heard the last of Sean P. The Brooklyn native was working on many projects before his untimely death, so there should be plenty of great material in the vaults.
