2006 was a great year for hip-hop. Rap nerds can argue the validity of albums like Clipse's Hell Hath No Fury, Rick Ross' Port of Miami and Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor, but Lil Wayne was undoubtedly one of the biggest stars of the time. In between dropping Tha Carter II and III, the self-proclaimed "best rapper alive" was getting studio time with every major player in the game. A decade later, one of those long lost bangers has come to light in a new form.

10 years after it was first created and seven years after it was placed on the My Face Can't Be Felt mixtape, Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana's "1 Arm" gets an official release from the track's producer, Streetrunner. The Miami-based producer dropped the official mix to the track on his Soundcloud page today (Aug. 25). The rap rock track

"Head high got the world on my back they told me I can turn around/But never look down they told me if I shoot the AK, I better aim down? they say even a train collision produces the same sound," raps Wayne is true Weezy style for the first verse.

Wayne has had to deal with some professional drama the past few years that's prevented him from dropping music when he sees fit. The NOLA spitter has been in a long-standing battle with his Cash Money boss and personal father figure, Birdman, for over two years, delaying the release of Tha Carter V. Baby and Wayne are beefing over, among other things, alleged unpaid royalties. They are currently in the midst of a $51 million lawsuit. But this definitely hasn't stopped Wayne from making concert appearances, drop content for free and even putting on Weezyana festival in his hometown.

Meanwhile, Juelz recently announced he would be making a return to the music world earlier this year.
