While most rappers choose to over saturate themselves on the hungry World Wide Web, for the most part, Dom Kennedy takes an old-school approach, only dropping when he sees fit. After seemingly taking a sabbatical in the first eight months of 2016 the Leimert Park legend returns with a brand new single featuring Niko G4 titled, "U Got It Like That."

Production on the track is provided by Mike Free, who lays down a '80s era reminiscent smooth groove for Dom to spit his signature slow-flow over. "OPM, I'm the franchise/Some things money can't buy/She can get it with her hands tied/Won the game by a landslide/350 on health care/Ask him if he from the west side, he said "hell yeah"/Tell all my enemies I'm doin' well here/95 in the Porsche with the tail up/Tryna figure out if I should hit the The Mel's drunk," he raps on the first verse.

The overall vibe of the track is prosperity with Dom making big boasts. "They say I'm trippin' cause I'm off then/Guys like me don't come around that often/The money the only thing that I really wanna talk with/Ridin' on leather seats, huh, you a boss bitch," he spits on the chorus.

This is possibly off DK's forthcoming project Los Angeles Is Not For Sale Vol. 1.

The OPM head finished off 2015 strong dropping his album By Dom Kennedy in June and the mixtape Best After Bobby Two in September. He closed the year out going on a two month tour in support of both projects along with Jay 305 and Casey Veggies.

But it looks like a lot of Dom Kennedy fans are disappointed with his recent output, and they voiced their anger on Twitter. See what some people had to say below, with others coming to his defense.
