OVO artist Roy Woods comes through today with the release of his new album Waking at Dawn. The ten track offering is available to stream below via Spotify and download courtesy of iTunes. While Woods had a Drake feature on his last release, 2015's Exis, in the form of "Drama," Waking at Dawn registers no features and clocks in at just 36 minutes in length,

Woods will join Drake, Future and dvsn on tour this year as a part of the Summer Sixteen tour, which kick off July 20 in Austin, Texas. Woods, who labels himself a singer, said inn a 2014 interview, "I just want to be the best at whatever I'm doing with music right now and let it take me where I need to go. Not sure about signing to any labels at the moment though," with that outlook obviously changing as he's since signed to Drizzy's team.

Speaking of that OVO Sound team, Woods' release signals the third album from the fourth from the label this year, with Majid Jordan releasing their self-titled debut in February, dvsn dropping Sept. 5 in March and Drake's own Views coming out in April.

Listen to Waking at Dawn below, with Woods previously releasing a remix to Kodak Black's "SKRT" earlier this year. The summer is primed for Woods to make an even bigger splach and his latest release and rolew on the Summer Sixteen tour are sure to contribute.
