OG Maco is ready to spark the revolution. The Atlanta rapper dropped the new single "Alive" in midst of turmoil around the country. With the help of BJ The Chicago Kid, OG Maco calls for action against the police brutality overwhelming the black community.

"We put the trap in a dead end/Taking lives for these dead men/Take my advice and defeat your vices/Winter nights won't be the nicest/Take your pride and then sacrifice it/Know your rights and then exercise 'em/Dream big and don't undersize 'em/Yeah, yeah/Who know but you the shit that's come easy/Niggas want beef, the game will get greasy/Not for the faint of heart, I hardly get queasy/Media greedy, want the fettuccine/Genie, Houdini, making magic happen/Unleash the Kraken, plotting war like Patton/Life is my visions, haters hate, I happen/Rage in my instance, hope you keep me balanced," OG Maco raps on the second verse.

"Alive" appears on OG Maco's Breathe 2: Episode 1 "Unite" EP which is available now on SoundCloud. The original Breathe EP was an important release for the Quality Control artist. The politically charged content of the project showed listeners that OG Maco offered more than the turn-up vibes of "U Guessed It." Sadly, the subject matter remains relevant.

There is much more to come from OG Maco in 2016. The 2015 XXL Freshman is set to release his long awaited Children of the Rage album later this year. Last month, Maco selected "Don't Know" to serve as the lead single for the LP. Unfortunately, there is still no release date for the album.
