Michael Christmas and Prefuse 73 Form New Group, Release “In My Shoes”

Fresh off a new project and a tour, Michael Christmas has linked up with producer Prefuse 73 and formed the new duo Fudge. Just that quickly, the two have put together an album titled Lady Parts that they plan to put out in September. They recently released the project's first single "In My Shoes" which features vocals from Alex Mali.

Prefuse provides an ill Neptunes-esque track with spacey chords and just the appropriate amount of bass. Mike catches the wave with a simple flow that compliments the laid back instrumental.

The upcoming project is already in the bag and will drop September 9 via Lex Records. The album only contains one guest feature as D.R.A.M appears on the track "All Points." Otherwise, it's all MC and P73.

They have also revealed the artwork for the offering which features an abstract painting of a naked woman with a sailor's hat on.

Christmas is coming off the May release of his most recent project Baggy Eyes EP. The body of work contains guest features from Vintage Lee, $ilkmoney and Polyester the Saint.

Xmas just finished a 11-city tour which saw him hit up spots in the U.S. and Canada.
