MarQ Spekt, Conway, HPone, Buze Bruvaz Go Off on "Point Break"

MarQ Spekt, rising new comer Conway, Brooklyn's HPone and Philly underground legends' Buze Bruvaz go nuts on Spekt's new track "Point Break," which is produced by Blockhead. The scrappy battle rapper from the streets of Philadelphia puts together an all-star team for one of the best songs of the month. Conway comes out swinging, setting the tone for this street banger in the song's opening verse."It's Conway muthafucka I'm in beast mode/Guns automatic, Dirk Nowitzki shooting free throws/Keep the burner on me muthafucka 'cause the streets cold/Shooter get shot, I'm just sticking to the g-code." HPone, Buze Bruvaz and MarQ Spekt each rattle off impressive verses that will make hip-hop lovers' head nod instantly. The track is from MarQ Spekt's forthcoming Keep Playin album that is produced entirely by Blockhead.

After a brief stint with Subverse Records, MarQ Spekt has been one of the most acclaimed underground hip-hop artists over the last decade. Spekt's sound encompasses everything great about the Golden Era in the '90s, which is something greatly needed in hip-hop today. The former Broady Champs member's album is MarQ Spekt walking into the current state of the game and tracking a little mud on the rugs, then sitting back and putting his feet on the table.
