DJ Twin recruited 2016 XXL Freshman Lil Yachty, Chicago rising star Famous Dex and singer Sean Kingston for the new track "Honor Roll." The song serves as the third single for Twin's upcoming Day 1 EP due out on Monday (July 4). The three artists come together on this record to tell everyone about their rise in the music industry.

"Wow, damn, life ain't the same/Used to turn my main music and they thought it was a game/Now when my shit come on they all sing/To the top of they lungs/I really ran down my funds/I got hoes from the A to Notre Dame/All these bitches tryna fuck me for the fame/I remember people used to talk down on my name/Now a nigga up, they say I'm stuck up/But I don't give a fuck," Lil Yachty raps on the second verse.

Lil Yachty's name is unavoidable these days as he pops up with solo joints and collaborations at a tremendous pace. Earlier today, Lil Boat did his thing on the DJ Carnage's "Mase in '97." XXL also released his much anticipated freestyle and profile from the 2016 Freshman shoot.

"Me getting this, it’s going to show a lot of people, you know what I’m saying, it’ll make them hate me more or respect me more, either way it go, they going be talking more,” Yachty said of being part of this year's class.

If you haven't already, make sure to check out Lil Yachty's freestyle. And don't forget to pick up a copy of the 2016 XXL Freshman issue which is on stands now.
