What year is it? Jermaine Dupri and Da Brat collab on the new track "F U Pay Me." Yes, you read that right. The new song dropped this week courtesy of the Los Angeles Leakers.

With a hook by The-Dream that's equal parts stank and soulful, JD and Brat trade bars on what seems to be a true duet. The bar finish each others rhymes, alternate every two lines or so.

"Told you my niggas will be home soon/And I keep 'em close by/Yeah, we be the most fly/Two you ever seen/Smoother than a ghost ride/Only fear the most high/Fuck ya blog post/I got my middle finger up high/And I'm like 'boy, bye'/Tell 'em 'boy, bye'/I don't eat off the same menu, I want it fresh as it gets/You can't do nothing but continue when you blessed like this/Two hundred thousand in my earlobe, nigga, fuck your wrist/And the win is automatic, Dream, me and my sis," rap JD and Brat.

JD stopped by Hollywood Today Live earlier this week to talk about adding the job of TV producer to his resume with his new Lifetime reality show The Rap Game.

"You get an opportunity to see what I've done with Kriss Kross, what I've done with Bow Wow. Just basically, watching the process of me doing that."

Season 2 of The Rap Game premieres on Lifetime tonight, July 22 at 10 p.m. EST.

As for Da Brat, she was on hand at the 2016 VH1 Hip Hop Honors earlier this month to pay homage to some pioneering ladies in the game like Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Lil' Kim and Salt N Pepa featuring Spinderella. Back in the late '90s to early 2000's, Jermaine and Da Brat were pumping out So So Def jams like "The Party Continues" and "Don't Hate On Me." Fast forward almost twenty years, and this new track proves the duo's still got bars on deck ready to go. Check out this new So So Def collab above and peep JD on Hollywood Today Live earlier this week.
