Atlanta's own Jarren Benton is now back in a major way. Last Friday (June 22), the former Funk Volume signee released Slow Motion Vol. 2, his eagerly awaited follow-up to 2015's Slow Motion Vol. 1. The new project features contributions from Sy Ari Da Kid, Dizzy Wright, Chris Webby, M16 and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. You can stream Benton's latest project above.

Slow Motion Vol. 2 comes just a few weeks after he released "Scared," a revealing song that saw the Slow Motion Vol. 1 rapper explain that he's scared of just about everything – except his doubters.

On the energetic track, he raps, "I'm scared, I'm scared of living, I'm scared of dying, I'm scared of falling, I'm scared of flying / I'm scared of failure, I'm scared of trying / I'm scared, I'm scared of losing my kids / Suppressing all of my emotions, scared I might flip and lose me."

"I'm scared, but ain't scared of none of y'all fuck niggas / I'm scared of gettin' my heart broken/I'm sorry that's why I don't fuck wit' ya / I'm scared of love I'm scared of pain, I'm scared of music, I'm scared of fame," Benton continues in his second verse.
