Atlanta rapper Father doesn't have the frills or flashing lights, but if you are into straight forward, raunchy, self-aware raps, he's that dude. One of the leaders of the underground Atlanta music scene, the Awful Records rapper recently dropped the video for his song "Big Emblem Benz."

The visual finds the patriarchal MC floating through desert back roads in a old school Benz driven by a PYT. In another scene, him and his girl post up in a trailer home, and later take a dip in a makeshift hot tub. The Ramez Sylyan-directed clip is type strange. But that's exactly what we've come accustomed to from the Georgia MC.

The song appears on Father's most recent album I'm A Piece of Shit which he dropped back in March. The project featured guest appearances from Tommy Genesis, Archibald Slim, Stalin Majesty and iLoveMakonnen on the song "Why U Don't."

That was the follow up to his 2014 LP Who's Gonna Get Fucked First. Last month he put out the new track "Heartthrob."

Father's Awful Records label has been making noise in the A and recently put out a documentary covering the rise of the indie label titled Awful Days. Tommy Genesis, Lui Diamonds, RichPoSlim and more make appearances in the film. “Watching it now is a little crazy, but at the time it was just regular,” said Father of the new doc. “It was just Awful doing what we do every day.”
