Audio Push come in peace with their new track, "Check the Vibe," an interpretation of A Tribe Called Quest's 1991 song "Check The Rhime."

Produced by Hit-Boy, the track features looping horns and the hook "the vibe don’t lie." Based on the energy of the song, it's clearly true.

Towards the end of the track, Oktane calls out those contributing to the state of music, rapping, "Man I get high and listen to Earth, Wind & Fire cause new music blows/You look surprised ain’t much music sold/If you won’t say it, I will, man music ain’t been cold / Man, I remember when that new music ain’t get old/It had them horns on it/It make you perform with your mama through the storm won’t it/Now that sound cold, don’t it?/Man these rappers keep rapping like this rap shit ain’t savin’ their life/Say what you want, man, but say that I’m right."

In April, Price told XXL about the group's relationship with Hit-Boy, saying, "The Hit-Boy situation is real, it’s not like 'Super-Producer Signs Audio Push.' That’s the homie. I heard 'Niggas in Paris' with someone else on it. We celebrated when Watch the Throne dropped in Hit-Boy’s room at his mom’s house in I.E. That’s where we all celebrated. That’s family."

The duo dropped The Stone Junction EP in April and joined XXL's Ante Up podcast in March to discuss Steph Curry, Kobe Bryant and Kawhi Leonard. Check that convo below with "Check the Vibe" up top. Audio Push are prepping to release their debut album this fall, with the project's first single expected to drop inn August.
