B$B Records' Young Lito drops the new freestyle "Go Time" today (June 15) as a response to the controversy surrounding his labelmate Troy Ave.

Over the bare bones Rubi Rosa-produced beat, the Brooklyn rapper shares what it's like to lose not one but two members of his B$B family and deal with threats from the outside.

"This shit just got me upset/I just lost my man and the cops treat me like I'm a suspect/I'm on Instagram and shit I get enough threats/But they ain't bussin' no moves, you sending tough texts/Shit's got my moms worried, this what she fear/D's at the door, she yell I'm not there/Just like I'm still trappin' man, shit all weird/She don't want me out late, now she all scared/I'll be damned, mama/They know who I am, mama/Them boys food I eat 'em just like your ham, mama/On Thanksgiving, the toy's on me, but ain't kidding/We been through worse, this shit light like Blake Griffin/There's no danger, R.I.P. Banga/And free the boy Ave, the cracker's is tryin' hang ya/Just watched the news, see they tryin' blame ya/But you know how I play, I'm sly just like a Ranger."

At the very end of the 3-minute freestyle, audio of Banga can be heard giving Lito his co-sign. "Young Lito, man, the next in charge."

On the night of May 25, a shooting occurred at a T.I. concert at New York City's Irving Plaza injuring four people and killing B$B member Ronald “Banga” McPhatter. Banga was a lifelong friend of Troy Ave and Lito and was 33 years old. As new details in the shooting came to light, surveillance video showed that Troy, who was shot in the leg, was one of the shooters in the venue that night.

On May 26, Troy was arrested for attempted murder. Troy chose to waive his court appearance on June 9, but will undergo an indictment for the charges. Being in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons, Troy attempted to vindicate his name by dropping the Free Troy Ave mixtape earlier this month, but this is the first time Young Lito has shared his thoughts on wax about the Irving Plaza shooting, Banga's death or Troy's indictment.
