Young Greatness has been riding quite the wave with his smash hit "Moolah" enlisting Lil Wayne and Yo Gotti to jump on the remix late last month, but as is always the case with break-out stars, the question remained as to how he would follow it up. Last week, the New Orleans rapper announced that his I Tried to Tell Em 2 mixtape will be released on July 8, and this week he comes through with a new Akon-assited track titled "Celebration."

Produced by Haz Futcha, the track is the first new release from Young Greatness since he dropped "Ball" at the top of the month. While the above stream appears to omit any expletives, its more the vibe that's important, with each artist reflecting on harder times and toasting to the progress made. "I remember my grandma used to tell me Teddy you be takin a chance," Young raps, with that chance proving to be worth it.

Last July, Young Greatness spoke to XXL saying that he plans to be the next star out of the Nola. "It’s only one Young Greatness. I have goals to be the next star to come out of New Orleans and I have a strategic plan. I’m confident in myself. I believe in myself, and at this point and time for my city, it’s going to be big for New Orleans. I got to do it. I don’t have another choice."

Listen to "Celebration" up above, with I Tried to Tell Em 2 dropping in about two weeks.
