Fans are starting to get an idea of the direction Wale is taking on his new album Shine with the second song off the LP. Following the arrival of the lead single "My PYT" last month, the rapper returns with the new track "Her Wave" produced by Habib, August Grant and Channel 3.

Much like "My PYT," this new track presents Wale as being in a romantic mood. "Her Wave" sees the D.C. native expressing his infatuation with a woman who hopes to keep all to himself.

"This ain't bout no feelings, girl/This ain't bout no feelings/Let me get you off the floor/I ain't got no ceilings/I don't really know you really/But your IG 250/How cool is you, bravo/That's sarcasm and that's my bag/And if you not with it, gotta roll/I'm too lit for ya/Cross my heart and four limbs on that/Think about it, don't talk about it/Social awkward, I'm an introvert/I make it nasty, I make it nasty/I make you cum so much it make you mad/I'm talking uh uh, get it back to back/Skrt that, I'm like a straight up savage," Wale raps.

During a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Wale emphasized that his Shine album will be a project for the whole world. He said this new LP will be unlike his Album About Nothing, which he said he made for himself.

Shine is scheduled drop in the fall, but that's not all that Wale has in the pipeline. The "Chillin" rapper will play a major role in the Maybach Music Group compilation Self Made 4, which is also due out this year.
