Talib Kweli and 9th Wonder are taking it back to their Indie 500 album for a new music video. The two revisit their collaboration LP with video for the Rapsody assisted "Life Ahead of Me" produced by 9th Wonder. The acclaimed producer only makes a brief cameo in this visual as Talib Kweli and Rapsody take the leading roles.

The video employs a simplistic style of animation which captures the type of drawings one would do as a child. It fits very well with the message of the track that lets the world know there's so much more to come in life. There is no absence of intense bars here though as Rapsody unleashes on the final verse.

"How slow can you be, I been killing annually/I'm half beast machine/I guess Hills or Jeans make a difference/If they'll listen or pay attention, I'm intervention, fuck you niggas/If I had a penis, your penis would be hard as a brick is/Saying I'm king on some rap shit/But my gender got them tender, I recognize y'all lies/And understand it ain't even, ain't no five + five's/Ain't no more cries like Mary Blige and them/Pressure part of the process like all them diamonds been/So what I’m finding is the more they keep rhyming, they break promises/I never like a female rapper that ain't honest, is it now/If they never saw my profile, they probably picture me with a image/That do resemble dissing like cymbals/Make much noise and rejoice for Cristal/We found the next boy but not really though/I'm still killing them easy, like eeny, miny, moe," Rapsody raps.

If you missed it when it dropped late last year, make sure to give Talib Kweli and 9th Wonder's Indie 500 album a spin. The project features an impressive lineup of guests including Slug of Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Problem, Planet Asia and Tef Poe.
