Playboi Carti Enters High Society in “What” Video

High society will never be the same. Playboi Carti and his cohort UnoTheActivist enter the snobby realm of the upper class in this music video for their song "What" produced by Chris Fresh of 808 Mafia. ASAP Rocky invites the Atlanta duo over to a fancy dinner party where the two flip everything on its head.

Playboi Carti and UnoTheActivist arrive at the luxurious home and realize this was not the entertaining function they were expecting. Instead, they are greeted by an older crowd who seems none too pleased with their arrival. That does not deter the Atlanta rappers as they begin to turn up upon seeing ASAP Rocky. Rocky jumps up on a table and lets everyone there know that things are about to change.

Some spiked drinks and a little marijuana completely alter the scene as the prudish crowd gets just as hyped as Playboi Carti. The party is in full effect as the older women in attendance do their best attempt at twerking while Carti encourages them. It's a wild scene that pairs up well with chaotic vibe of the track.

Listeners will be able to hear "What" on the upcoming ASAP Mob project Cozy Tapes Vol. 1, which is scheduled to drop on July 22. At this point, it will be the closest thing to a proper Playboi Carti release since the buzzing young rapper still hasn't dropped a solo project. Until he does, Carti diehards will have to settle for the unofficial compilation that features 45 songs by the Georgia native.
