Nipsey Hussle's Marathon Mondays series continues to roll on as the West Coast rhymer releases the new single "Down as a Great." The track sees the MC enlisting some notable names as Kirko Bangz helps Nipsey out with the hook while Mike & Keys, Jake One and Tariq Beats team up to handle the beat.

As you probably guessed from the song title, Nipsey Hussle raps about his goal to go down as one of hip-hop's greats. Kirko Bangz bolsters this one with his contributions, but Nipsey remains the star of the show as he flows over the smooth production.

"Legendary moves, leader of my crew/Heavy is the head that wears the crown, that shit true/Do it like Nip Hussle, that's to fill some big shoes/And what good is excuses when the fucking rents due/Smoking all this indo, run away from my pain/Rosemary on my temples, heard that's good for migraines/Solo in my Benzo, exit off the highway/Solitary thoughts like how to reinvest my side change," Nipsey Hussle raps.

The Marathon Mondays series has helped Nipsey Hussle stack up a lot of new songs as of late, yet there is still no update on his long awaited album Victory Lap. At least this weekly series gives fans some hope that the LP may finally drop in 2016.

Although his own album remains a mystery, we do know that Nipsey Hussle is involved in Snoop Dogg's upcoming album. Back in April, it was revealed that Snoop was working with Nipsey and producer Just Blaze on some records for his new LP
